Getting to appointments isn’t always easy. Konex Care brings qualified allied health practitioners to your home, helping you stay mobile, reduce your risk of falls, and keep doing the everyday things that matter to you.
Seeing a physiotherapist or occupational therapist in your own home means advice and exercises are tailored to your actual surroundings: your stairs, your bathroom, your favourite chair. There’s no travel or waiting room, and it’s easy for family to be involved.
Allied health works hand in hand with our in-home aged care and NDIS services, so your carers and practitioners can support the same goals.
Improve strength, balance and mobility, and reduce your risk of falls.
Make daily tasks easier and your home safer, with practical strategies and equipment advice.
Foot, nail and lower-limb care to keep you comfortable and on your feet.
Nutrition advice to support healthy ageing, appetite and weight management.
Support at Home: If you’ve been approved for Support at Home, allied health at home can be delivered through our registered partner provider.
NDIS: Therapy supports can be funded under your NDIS plan’s Capacity Building budget.
Private Assessments & Private Payment: Private appointments are also available.
How It Works
01
Meet us at home or at our Murrumbeena office to talk about your needs, goals and funding. There’s no cost and no obligation.
02
Your care coordinator builds a personalised plan around your routines, preferences and goals.
03
We introduce carers matched to your needs, language and personality before your support begins.
04
We check in regularly and adjust your care as your needs change.
You don’t need a referral to book privately or through your aged care or NDIS funding. A GP referral is needed if you want to claim Medicare rebates under a Chronic Condition Management Plan.
Yes. Our physiotherapists, occupational therapists and podiatrists are registered with AHPRA, and other practitioners are members of their professional associations.
Comfortable clothing, a list of your current medications, and any recent reports or letters from your doctor or hospital. A family member is welcome to join.
Yes. Your practitioner can share exercise programs or safety recommendations with your carers, so they can support you between visits.
We support clients across Melbourne’s south-east and surrounds. Not sure if we cover your area? Call (03) 8524 7699.
